Mold Processing Flow:

1.Learn Mold Requirements

Requirements, market, quantity, clinical and launch plan, and processing detail all are essential for mold design. We will learn the info via email, online meetings and instant apps as you like.

2.Mold 3D Drawing Confirmation

We can process files with X_ T. IGES, STEP, DXF/DWG, PRO/E NUETRAL, CGR and other formats. Evaluate the structure and optimize the drawings according to the provided 3D drawings,

3.3D Printing or Fast Prototype

Time quality and accuracy are all crucial. We will use the most proper way to make the prototype.  method and the method closest to the material and surface requirements of the final product by CNC machining, 3D printing, and silicone replica according to the needs of your early development of the project, to accurately and quickly evolve your design concept into a real product, and effectively test it.

4.Prototype Structure Confirmation

Verifying the design and properly completing the sample verification stage with the prototype is a crucial step from concept to mold and mass production.

5.Mold Design

Mold feasibility analysis in designing period will be done from below aspects: product strength, assembly feasibility, injection molding (mold flow), mold mechanism motion, and mold strength. So that we can prevent hidden problems in advance, therefore shortening the development cycle and reducing unnecessary long-term testing costs.

6.Mold Manufacturing

Equipped with all kinds of precision milling machines, grinders, CNC machines, EDM machines, wire cutting machines, combined with three-dimensional detection equipment, etc., we can manufacture various molds rapidly. We can produce all kinds of plastic products with our 86 – 2000 tons injection molding machines. The production capacity is 40-50 sets medium-sized molds per month and 600 sets medium-sized molds per year. We can provide customers with the most advanced technology (including sensors, vacuum pumping, nitrogen blowing, IMD, IML, etc.) and short production cycle mold. The mold core steel is made of P20, 738718, NAK80, H13, S136, and 420SS with dimensions up to 2000mm * 1800mm and a weight up to 20 tons.

7.Mold Inspection

Material certificates, inspection reports, samples, test reports (probably including third-party reports), etc. would be sent for product verification. For each improving and optimizing suggestion/requirement, we will take care and organize the team to give feedback until the mold sample is finally qualified.

8.Mold Delivery

To protect the mold, we will adopt the most appropriate packaging method and will take the necessary anti-rust processing.  There are options of shipping by sea or air according to the customer's requirements. We are also happy to cooperate with the designated logistics partners. Both PMC and the sales team will follow the mold shipping state and keep the customer updated until it arrives at your address.
